Pre-ban vs. Post ban
Given the recent "SNIPER" - Bushmaster feeding frenzy I have thought abought seddeling for a post ban, rather than the pre-ban I have been saving for, before any more of our freedoms are stollen. So, I was woundering are there any differance, in pre-ban vs. post ban beyond
i. a folding or telescoping stock;
ii. a pistol grip that protrudes conspicuously
beneath the action of the weapon;
iii. a bayonet mount;
iv. a flash supressor or threaded barrel designed
to accomodate a flash supressor; and
v. a grenade launcher

Thats the list for centerfire rifles that are semi-auto and magazine fed. In California it also includes a thumbhole stock, but I'm not sure if that is part of the federal ban or not. 0 -

The telescoping stock can be nice if you are more comfortable with a little shorter stock.
A pistol grip that protrudes conspicuously beneath the action of the weapon;
This I find is very comfortable to shoot with.
A bayonet mount;
You should never need to attach a bayonet to your rifle; however, the mount can be used for a flashlight or laser. These can be clamped to the barrel.
A flash suppressor or threaded barrel designed to accommodate a flash suppressor;
Unless you are going in to combat and are worried that everyone will see your muzzle flash you don't need one. And even with one it's still bight at night.
And a grenade launcher
Now, this is the one thing that you must have. I can't count the times my life was saved because I have an M203 mounted to my AR. Oh, wait that's because I have never needed one. If you want to shot something that's 37mm get a flare gun.
