value of Weatherby with Burris scope
I went to a auction tonight and purchased a Weatherby Mark V Special Varmint in .223 rem for $450 and a Burris Signature scope 4-16x44 adjustable objective ,with a daylight and twilight setting for $200. The gun has not been fired and the scope looks to be new also. How did I do? And what are the values on those items?

SOUNDS GOOD TO ME. WEATHERBY IS A QUALITY PRODUCT. THERE IS PROBABLEY MORE DEMAND FOR WEATHERBYS IN THEIR MAGNUM CALIBERS, BUT .223 IS EXCELLENT FOR VARMITS. I HAVE A MARK V IN .30-06 I AM VERY HAPPY WITH AND PAID MORE THAN YOU DID. THE PRICE ON THE BURRIS SEEMS GOOD TOO. GOOD SHOOTING! LEE 0 -
You got two good deals. The scope is a great product, very comparable to leupold and the weatherby action is one of the strongest available.
A great rifle with a junk scope,....is junk.0 -
I thought I did well on the scope, But was not sure on gun. It is not listed in any gun trader books. I finally found two on another site For $800-860, so I feel a lot better lol. 0 -
