30.06 conversion to 25.06
I have a weatherby Mark V 30.06 that has a bad barrel. Can I have a new barrel installed in a 25.06 caliber? If yes, any ideas of how much it will cost me?

You bet, cost- 450 to $$$$$ Make of barrel a big factor 0 -
No problem switching from a 30.06 to a 25.06. You can get a threaded Douglas premium barrel that has been short chambered and rent a finish remar and a set of go-no go gauges and do it your self for about $200.00, less if you use a cheaper barrel. But it won't be blued. Other wise it could cost up to $400.00 to have a gusmith do the work 0
