peephole sight question

I am now nearsighted. If I wear my glasses I can easily see the target but the iron sights are blurry. If I take off my glasses the iron sights are in focus but the target is blurry. I have been told that an adjustable peephole sight will allow me to shoot and see both the iron sights and the target in focus at the same time. Is this true??
Anyone heard of a little peephole sight made by Merit that attaches to one's eye glasses with a suction cup and has an adjustable peephole sight? Thanks for any help.

  I have an adjustable type lense like a camera shutter it attaches to a adjustable frame for comp shooting. I heard your question refered to as the Neilson Stilson effect, don't ask me why. The device would allow you to improve your focous. If you can see your frount sight with your corrective lenses that is a start. you then begin to reduce the size of your rear arpature at larger settings you will be see the target when it's close say 200 yds. at smaller size say .052 on national match sights you can see your target at 600yds clearly the problem with the smaller size is it starts to look dark grey and fuzzy and may be too dark to focuse on your frount sight. This problem has plauged older high power shooters for years. To see if the adj. arpature approach will work for you get a black spray can cover and some small drill bits .025 to .075 and drill holes spaced around the top. next set up your rifle on a rest aimed at a target position your head on the stock and place the cap in frount or your eye now go from one hole to the next and see if the target comes into focuse the rear sight should not be more than 3 inchs from your eye the closer the better.   I was always taught to keep the fornt site in focus and the target should appear blurry. Might be mistaken but I think that is what I was taught in the Army. So your eyesight might not be too much of a problem.

  mkirkland is right, all that peep will help to do is to identify your tatget some shooters can not use iron sights because with the frount sight in focuse there is no target down range. You might need a scope.
