I believe that your rifle is actually a Marlin Model 80 made for Sears as a J.C. Higgins. As such, almost all parts are still available in the Numrich Gun Parts Corp. catalog #23, page 365. There are a couple of variations of the part you need, but if it is a one piece spring that snaps into a groove on the top to the bolt, curves around to both sides and forms an extractor on both sides, then it is key# 80-18, Mfr. # 320169, Item # 402940, Description: New Style Extractor (may require some minor fitting, filing or sanding) $4.05. Order telephone # 845-679-2417. You are in the right place!

That is the piece. A small spring steel round, but not closed.
Thank you SO MUCH. My dad will be thrilled.
I hesitate buying over the internet, but it looks like you have experince with these guys, so they are a reputable company to do business with?

As far as honesty, I'd give them an "A". As far as actually having everything they advertise, I'd give them a "C". But, their merchandise comes and goes, and if they don't have it today they may well have it next week. They probably do have your part. As for the internet, they do have a website, www.e-GunParts.com but you can order via telephone or mail. Mailing address is: Numrich Gun Parts Corp., 226 Williams Ln. P.O. Box 299, West Hurley, New York 12491. They have a minimum shipping which is $4.95, so if there is something else you need you'd be wise to order it at the same time.
