I have been looking for weeks and weeks for my dream gun. I have been saving up for a remington 700 XCR 30-06 in a LEFT-HANDED model. Every store locally has basically laughed at me and said that they can't find it.

It is the only gun i want. I don't want any other model.

    Please Help

    Thanks,
    Keenan

    Drawn,

I saw that one, but he has been very specific in that he wants the short magnum, not the normal 300.

    Sorry I did find this...
2: Left hand rifles in 300 WSM.
    Q. I'd like to know if you are aware of any manufacturer that produces rifles in synthetic stainless 300 WSM left hand.

    A. I'm not aware of any manufacturer that produces this type of rifle at the moment; however, I'm sure this will change in the not too distant future as the popularity of this cartridge catches on.

Thanks for the info. Next question. I am completly ignorant to the quality of Savage. My family has always used Rem, Browining, and Weatherby. How does Savage measure up. Again, forgive my ignorance.

The current savage bolt actions are generally less expensive than the equivalent reminton or winchester. The stock and other accessories generally show it. Accuracy is generally one of the best out of the box. I have a friend who bought a 300 ultra mag last year in stainless with the twist on-off muzzle break, I believe it was a weather warrior series or sum such thing. It feels solid and shoots very well.
