Browning Double Automatic 12 Ga.
I have a Browning Double Automatic 12 Ga. I have used it and enjoyed it well. I have the original box with papers it came with two black shells that are imprinted with the Browning logo and say Double Automatic on them. I have all of the papers to go with it also. The gun is in about 80% the blueing is in good shape the gold on the trigger is almost completely off. The biggest problem is that the original finish has cracking throughout the gloss and it has some scratches and light dents in the wood. The wood on this gun must be very light in density to make it light. The gun was made in Belgium and it says twentyweight and special steel on the barrel. I would appreciate any help with the value of this gun for insurance puposes. Thanks....

A little more info would help establish value, but this is ballpark:
The two "dummy shells", if perfect and no primer dent are worth $20-$25 each, with primer dent and showing use maybe $12.50 each.
Gun itself, if vent rib and other than full choke should "retail" at around $475-$525 if not vent rib $325-$375.
This is based upon BlueBook value and what I see them priced at and bringing at the bigger gunshows-ie.Tulsa.0
