Spanish 7.62 NATO Ammo
I have 100 rounds of Spanish 7.62 NATO ammo in 147gr. FMJ ordered. Made in Spanish National munition factory in Santa Barbara, Spain in 1981. Brass cased and non-corrosive. Any thoughts on this ammo and is it any good?

Gunlover, does the head stamp on these cases show the NATO marking? This would be a sort of circle with a cross inside it. If it is loaded to NATO specs it should give no trouble. If it is not marked it could well have been loaded for use in the Spanish CETME (the real one and not the clone) and that ammo is loaded to different specs- lower pressure. 1981 dated could be either type.
