The time frame on these is all over the place. I've heard of folks waiting months for a C&R License- but I have a customer who got his in less than four weeks. For a Type 1,2 and 3 FFL the BATF has 60 days to issue or deny a license application. The 60 days starts from the time your Form 7 is checked over- must be completed correctly and to see if the proper fee is included.

Once that is done, the application is stamped with a date and sent through for processing and the 60 day count down begins. If approved the licensing center will send out the FFL in another 10 days or so. If disapproved, you will be notified and have a chance to appeal their ruling. If there was a problem with the original application that required more investigation there can be delays. You fail to mention how long you've been waiting. If it has been over 120 days you should contact the License Center in Atlanta to find out the status of your application. It is not unheard of for something to get lost in the cracks.
