auto 5 16 guage
I just received an auto 5 16 guage and want to know the history and value. Finish is excellent with some scroll engraving. On the left side of the receiver it says browning with the picture of a man. It was made in Belgium (says on the barrel). Serial no X38893 on bottom of receiver with FN in a circle. No rib on barrel. It does have a rubber kick pad which probably is not original. Any idea of date of manuf. and value?

Units with serial numbers X31501 thru X42500 were built in 1950...I'd guess the value to be between $400-800 depending on condition. 0
