I also received a model 70 300 win mag, serial no 770586. Is it pre 64? What is the value?

  your rifle was made in 1964. 1964 models have ser numbers from 740599 up to 809177 post 64s model 70s begin with ser munber 700,000 on up
  need more info on rifle to figure what it maybe worth.
