Need info on rifle?

The best I can tell from my books is this rifle is based on the Portuguese Model 937/M39 action. The barrel is stamped SANTA FE "TRAIL MASTER" R-157 Golden State Arms Corp. Pasadena Calif. and near the barrels chamber area 308W. the rifle has a wooden sporter stock and the rear sight is hinged with a 100 and 300 setting. The butt pad is marked Santa Fe White Line. I would like to find out the history of this rifle, type of action, year of production, and estimated value.   Hi, check past auction here and at other sites. Found Golden state arms rifles for sale but not your exact model. Prices seem to run in the 175-225 range for them. They don't seem to be high price converions. However the first time you say this, you may find your model is the rare one.
