.40 versus 10mm

    I prefer the 10 but this should probably be in general discussion.
    It will be interesting though,if the Captain lets it run.

    The .40 is just a short 10mm. I had a .40 in a para ord p 16-40 that I converted to a 10mm. I felt that the .40 was a little weak. The 10mm is a handfull, target reaquistion for double taps is tough now. Like comparing a 38 special and a 357 magnum.

    10mm hands down,feet down,double down. Exception would be if its a glock.Then neither.

    The 40S&W is a compromise round to grip size and recoil. For guns that are larger like the HK MP10, where neither is an issue, the 10mm is better.

    I have been shot with both calibers. If I had to be shot again I would opt for the 10. The .40 just hurts too much.

    Interstatepawn,what guns did you shoot and what loads?I have shot both 10mm and 40cal glocks.The 10mm Glock is larger and it kicked wayyy more than the 40.cal.CW
