CRIMSON TRACE LASER GRIPS
I will be purchasing a Beretta 96fs .40SW very soon, but I can't make up my mind if I should spend $200 more to include CRIMSON TRACE LASER GRIPS.
Has anyone used these laser grips before or something similar, and can you tell me what your thoughts are on laser sights??

honestly i think they are a waste of money......
2 reasons....
1.) do you really want to be in a situation where you need to aquire your target quickly and spend time looking for the little red dot? Personally i would just point aim and fire....the extra step to find the dot doesn't help.
2.) if you need something for night then get night sights....
Yea they look cool in the movies but they are a waste.....if i ever considered putting them on a firearm it would be on a rifle, but that will probably never happen

I would only if I had to have a laser use that brand.But Im not a laser fan.

I had the good fortune to meet a fellow shooter at the local gun shop a few weeks ago who had just had a set of Crimson Trace Grips
installed on his 2" Smith & Wesson personal carry gun and was kind enough to let me handle it. Although the red dot was small at close range, it was very bright and I HAD NO TROUBLE AQUIRING IT INSTANTLY IN BROAD DAYLIGHT .
The laser was activated by a very moderate pressure on the grip panel and had an on/off switch to conserve batteries.
After handling this set of grips I may have to re-think my own plans to get a LaserMax internal laser sight for my Beretta 92 which I still would prefer for aesthetic reasons. Also the Crimson Trace is sigificantly less expensive than LaserMax.
