Preban Mossberg 500 with bayonet lug & side saddle

I have a preban Mossberg 500 tactical/military shotgun that has a bayonet lug on the tube. The finnish is parkarized and it is equiped with a 6 round side saddle. Does anyone have idea of how much it is worth? I want to list it on gunbroker but want a good price for it so what should be the opening bid?

  Exactly what is a preban?
  I don't believe there is any such thing since it is a pump shotgun.
  They are still made today,I think.
  I will pay $240,so that is where you can start.

  They sell these things brand new at my gun shop. Pump shotguns are a dime a dozen. Never buy a new one.

  it may be you have a mossberg 590, styled like the 500 but with a higher capacity of 8-plus-1, and the bayonet lug (compatible with all the ar-15 type bayonets, i think). just having bayonet capability does not a pre-ban make.

  Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Mossberg stopped putting the bayonet lug on the 590 (for non-LE) around 1994.
  
  As far as I know it wasn't "banned"; I think they took it off to be more "PC".

  I see a lot of new 590's at gunshows but the lug doesn't seem to be as pronounced as it is on the pre-94 that my friend has. And I have yet to see a bayonet mounted on those slimmed-down lugs either.
