Reasonable Price for a Bushmaster

The time has come for me to own an AR-15 varient. I've decided on bushmaster and love the little shorty. I have found it for anywhere from $750-$1000 bucks... The lowest price on the boards was $719. Is this a good price for a NIB Shorty? Is there anywhere else i should look to find one for less?
There are also a few gun shows comming to town soon...would i be able to find a good deal there? what should i expect to pay and look out for?

pre-ban or post ban?
Post ban, at the dealer, I wouldn't go over $850 or so.
Pre-ban, I would say NIB would be worth $1000 give or take.
Just my opinion.

Kadaver i would say grab it at $719 , we sell them at the store for 839 new. THe new legislation that is going around now in wake of the maryland events is goin to make it hard to get them and drive prices up, so if it was me grab it while the price is right. 0 -

i have the m-4 post ban carbine with the mini y comp
and one with the a.k. muzzle brake i paid 850.00 and
799.00 at the gold coast gun show
i know of one gun shop in eustis florida that sells shorties
for about 749.00 all day let me know if more info is desired0 -
$750-800 would be good.
Wholesale is around $718.
