Anyone know what the MOA accuracy of a standard M1A? 1-2?

standard M1A...just at or under 2 minutes of angle. Heavy barreled National Match version...just under a minute of angle. Some with super tuning you'll get to 1/2 minute of angle. Beach 0 -
Glass bed it and play around with some hand loads I'm guessing 155's for a 1-12 twist and you'll get them down around 1"@ 100 yds. 0 -
My standard, walnut stock shot 1.75" out of the box. I never even had to adjust the sights. It was unbelievable. 0 -
this is also controled by the ammo you shoot out of it. 0 -
Don't expect SUB MOA, but definatley under 2moa. I've been using Black Hills 168gr Moly Coated Match ammo, and the gun outshoots me. Its the best darn rifle I own. If ur planning on getting one, do so. You won't regret it. If I had to do it again, the only thing I would have done different was rather than getting a factory springfield armory model, I would have gotten a springfield armory model from fulton armory. www.fulton-armory.com
If I'm wrong please correct me, I won't be offended.

Yeah I'm thinking of getting one early next year. I have checked out fulton armory before. I haven't checked around at the local shops to see if they can get just a rear lug reciever and how much it is. I was thinking of getting the national match, but after the responses here I might consider getting the standard. 2 MOA is probably good enough for me. 0 -
One thing I like about fulton armory, is that u don't have to get one of their standard model's, they will basically build on to ur specs. Just tell them exactly what u want.
