STW is Shooting Times Western and, I think, the STM is Shooting Times Mountain, but I'm guessing. I've never seen that one before. Anyway, no, they are not the same. Anymore than a 7mm Mag is the same. Both are the wildcat inventions of the writers at Shooting Times magazine that got picked up by some of the rifle manufacturers.
You get to use 7mm Mauser, period. Nothing wrong with a 7mm Mauser though.

Sunray is exactly right, but under no circumstance try shooting any thing but the Mauser ammo in your gun.The other wildcats are loaded to much higher pressures than your Mauser.

The above answers are 100% correct, but I'm going to pile it on.

There are a variety of Mausers chambered in the 7x57, but none ever originally chambered in any of the other cartridges you mentioned . . . nor should there be!!!!!!!!!!! This is one of the first smokeless powder cartridges, in use before 1900. The standard pressures of the time, the steels in the action and - even though it is a Mauser - the design all preclude the more modern, higher pressure designs of today. Without looking at my references, I don't know if it would be physically possible to chamber any of these other rounds in a 7x57, but don't even think about it!!!!!!!! Unless you have a death wish.

General rule of thumb, from Safety 101: NEVER, EVER, USE ANY CARTRIDGE IN A FIREARM OTHER THAN THE CALIBER MARKED ON THAT FIREARM!!

In case of doubt, ask - as you did here (good move!). There are a few synonyms for some cartridges, e.g. .30 WCF & .30-30 Winchester to name just one, but these are the exception, and those exceptions are almost entirely American cartridges (recognizing that 7x57 & 7mm Mauser is one contrary example, of course ).
