Glock 21 kb concerns/advice

I recently aquired a brand new G21 and have been reading some disturbing things about kb's. I do not use reloaded ammo at all and would eventually like to make this a primary carry weapon. Should I look into purchasing an aftermarket barrel to prevent a possible kb as I have read the little gap(in the barrel) at 6 o'clock is a contributing factor in these catastrophic failures? If so, which barrel would you suggest as well as any other preventative measures to prevent a kb.
