Llama parts interchangability?

I have Llama Model IXA S.N.484XXX which I acquired in 1970 or 71. I used to have two full-sized models made in the 1980s, and all parts would interchange with the older version. You may be able to use Colt recoil and firing pin springs, but the firing pin probably won't interchange; and the mainspring probably won't either. Try Gun Parts Corp.

Brownells has a tremendous assortment of springs that should take care of your needs but the firing pin could be a problem. As Der
    suggested, try Gun Parts.

Der Gebirgsjager, did yours have the extractor and firing pin held in place by the retaining plate or a pin?Is the magazine bottom the same with at the bottom as a Colt or narrower?I replaced the main and recoil spring and it helped alot.I only have misfires with Blazers today. Thanks again guys,CW

All three were similar to the traditional Colt Govt. Model--the firing pin and extractor were retained in the slide by a small plate which passed through a groove near the rear of the extractor and over the rear of the firing pin at the rear of the slide. If you're experiencing problems with Blazer ammo it may be due to the aluminum case which is quite a bit lighter than brass or steel. This could throw the cycling of the slide "out of time". If the slide is failing to open enough to eject the fired case and/or pick up a new case from the magazine you may need a lighter spring. If, on the other hand, it is ejecting the fired case but failing to strip and chamber a new round you may need a heavier spring. I suspect the former. Easiest solution is to avoid Blazer ammo. Have you tried steel cased Russian Wolf ammo? As for the magazine bottom, if you mean the floorplate, my Llama's are wider. The magazine body is about the same width, but Colt-type mags are not interchangeable.
