Russian Mauser (?)
Can anyone give me some background on what appears to be a 98 Mauser in 8 mm but has Russian (seemingly) written on the receiver. I have done my best to reproduce the Russian words below but I have had to substitute in some cases. Any help greatly appreciated.
Front receiver ring:KPIbEBNHA JYrOCPABNJA
Side of receiver: BOJHOTEX.3AB?? - KPArYEBAP
Thanks much,
Dave

d.i.h.--What you've provided here are words written in the Cyrilic alphabet it appears. The first word translates as Kingdom, second word, Yugoslavia. The third and fourth words refer to the Yugoslav Military Arms Factory in the town of Kragujevac. Looks like a Yugoslavian Model 24 short rifle according to my references.
