Talking about NATO, AMMO 223 ???

I have been reading a lot about the difference of 308 win and 7.62 NATO. You can buy a lot of NATO 5.56x45 now... Would you find the same problems with this ammo?? .223 and the NATO stuff. I have some Winchester with the NATO stamp on it, and other surplus ammo.. Whats the difference

  ZERO, ZIP, NUNADA, TWO PEAS IN A POD. the difference is in the rate of twist in the barrels, most commercial 223's are 1 in 12" or 14"(I.E. good for bullets up to 55 gr.) Military figured they needed 62gr. (I.E. you need a twist rate of 1 in 7" to 1 in 10") Up to 200 yds. you would not notice a difference. but 300yds or more, makes a BIG change.
