Firing pin problem?

I have a CZ52 which has an aftermarket fining pin. Today when shooting I ran 2 mags through it no problem, dry fired it, and holstered it, and loaded 2 more mags. Upon racking the slide on the first mag I eased the slide home. Pulled the trigger, Click. I thought OK dud round. I racked the slide again this time letting the slide fall home on its own. BOOM into the ground 6 feet in front of me. The weird thing is the hammer did not fall when the gun went off. I dissaembled the pistol and found the firing pin to be bent ever so slightly. When forward it sticks in the firing pin hole and will not retract without pressure, maybe 2 pounds. Does this sound like a reasonable explanation of what happened?

  Yep, sounds reasonable; the gun "slam-fired" as the slide, with the firing pin sticking forward, slammed shut.
  
  Good thing you were practicing safe firearm handling. I often see people chamber rounds with the muzzle pointed upward--could have been a problem if you had been doing that.
  
  I don't know what your "gunsmithing expertise level" is, but I'd have a good gunsmith look it over/repair it, if it were mine.

  Do Not try to shoot again untill you replace the firing pin with a factory original replacement fireing pin.

  thats the problem with aftermarket stuff, some of its good, some of its junk. My advice would be to replace the firing pin with the original factory one if u still have it, or get hold of another factory one.
  
  Just out of curiosity, what brand and model was the aftermarket fireing pin u were using.
  
  If I'm wrong please correct me, I won't be offended.

  It was a harrington products stage 2 that disables the firing pin safety which doesn't seen like such a great idea now. factory pin is back in and harrington is sending me a new pin.

  When two of my friends bought CZ-52's the man at the counter told them never to dry fire it. He said dry firing will insure firing pin breakage.
