What to do with a Savage 110E Barrel?

I have a Savage 110E in 30-06 with a very slight bend in the barrel, what would be the cheapest way to get this fixed?

  When I was in Edmonton, Alberta last fall goose hunting, my gunsmith friend showed me how to get a bent rifle barrel straightened. Hit it on a telephone pole opposite the way it is bent. Do that a couple of times if neccessary and each time turn the barrel just a little bit towards the bend. Don't be afraid of bending it when you hit the telephone pole. Forgaot to ask if you had wood telephone poles in your part of Alaska still.

  buy a new barrel from M*dw*y usa for 130.00 bucks and install it yourself.
