kollmorgan scope help

i have a kollmorgan scope that i can't hardly see thru, anyone know if and who could repair it? thanks

  Some of the folks here have posted contacts for people who do scope repair in the past, and will likely do so for you. None of the Kollmorgan scopes is today worth over $200 in perfect condition, so it may not be worth doing the repair, depending upon cost and any sentimental value.

  The Kollmorgen MC-1 was used on the M1C sniper rifle during WWII. It will have either Marine Corp or US Govt markings. If it is one of these, it could be quite valuable.

  Neal is on target as always! Check the top of the eye peice for these markings: Stith Mounts S.A. Texas, 4X double, Kollmorgan Optical Corp., Brookland N.Y., Pat. Pend.. Check the top of the tube for any other markings...something with MC would indicate Marine Corps issue...or give to Mark Christian!
  
  There would also be a serial type number. All of these scopes used an aluminum tube and had a black sort of enamel coating. The chances of this being a Marine issue scope are slim- I've only seen a handfull of these "on the loose", but stranger things happen in this business. If it is a Marine Corps issued scope there are collectors who'll line up to force money into your hands...whether or not you can see day light through the thing!   thanks for the responses,on the top front adj it has stith bear cub 11 and on the eye end it has the kollmorgen optical corp brooklyn n.y. guess it's not a rare one.

  I don't find a Kollmorgan Bear Cub II listed in the Stith Line, nor after 1956 when Kollmorgan began manufacturing the Bear Cubs under their own name. Redfield bought out Kollmorgan in 1959, so the Bear Cubs were only manufactured under the Kollmorgan name for about 4 years. In excellent condition the various Bear Cubs can be worth up to $200, but as I said I find no information on the Bear Cub II
