AK value
I'm going to get an AK, but I'm still a little undecided which to do:
1. Build one with a Polish parts kit and a Global Trades receiver. ~ $200
Or
2. But a Romanian or similar assembled rifle ~ $400
Which would be worth more? I see polish built with American receivers going for $500. But it's not really a completely Polish rifle. Does it matter if the receiver doesn't match the rest of the parts? I want something that shoots well, but also like guns that have/hold value.

I ran across a dealer who wanted around $1000 for one a while back. I would think that would be close, one way or the other.

$1000-1250 has been what they have been going for around here lately. In the rare situation, you may see one go for close to $1500, but it has to be exactly what someone is looking for and willing to pay a premium for. 0
