44mag shotshell capsules

i recently bought some 44mg shotshells for reloading, the problem is that i only have alliant blue dot, and power pistol powders. i would hate to have to buy a new container of powder just for these, can i use the powders i have for loading shotshells? and does anyone have any recomendations for a powder charge amount?
