Stevens 16 gauge

I have a older Stevens SS with a Full Full and I cannot find a new load that patterns right in it, does anyone know what loads I should try? the choke makes it shoot a slug with any type of shoot at nearly every decent shooting range. Thanks

  That gun would be a treasure in the old days of lead shot. Still good for shooting trap. Have you tried reloading your shells with the spreader inserts? They work I have done it. You can also buy spreader shells.
  
  As far as changing your load I would start using different amounts of powder and also different shot cups. Never use a load that is not in a reloading manual though.

  yeah... the only problem with shooting trap with it is that full choke, it shoot a 3 inch circle at 30 yards. I think I will try some of the spreader loads, any ideas?
