Went to one of the local shops and he had a little Colt Gov. 80 in .380 - Stainless with the Colt black grips. 98+ condition. He wants $299.00 (I put $50.00 down - wasn't even looking for a gun). I loaned out 3 of my books and can't find any info at the moment.

  It sound like a good price. A dealer here has one in about the same condition and he wants $400.

  The 2000 Catalog of firearms is the latest I have.It says exc.cond. $299.00 add 10% for nickel or stainless.Looks like you did OK !
