CLP - Breakfree
Can CLP Breakfree be bought in quarts, half-gallons or gallons?
I would like to refill some smaller containers and put some in a mist bottle.
I don't know why they never made it in a mist bottle before with a straw for when you want a stream.

RugerNiner; Breakfree CLP is available in pints (stock #CLP-5) or gallons (CLP-7). You can contact them at 714-953-1900 to find a dealer near you. You can request product information from: Breakfree, PO BOX 25020, Santa Ana, CA 92799. About five years ago SARCO was selling gallon jugs of CLP from Royal Lubricants, East Hanover NJ, 07936. Stock # ROYCO 463. The price if I recall was $32 for four- 1 gallon jugs. The Royal product was for police and military sales and did not have the fancy commercial labeling. It did however meet the same MIL-SPEC as Breakfree: MIL-L 63460. It smells a bit different and is a little darker. I've been using it for years now (still have one full jug left) and have gone through dozens of LE demos using this product as well as shooting my own firearms and it has served me very well. I'd call SARCO @908-647-3800 and see if it is still available.

I just checked one of my wholesale catalogs and it's sold in pints with a sprayer or gallons.

Thanks, That's just the information I was looking for. I can't believe it's that cheap. Four gallons for $32.00? I was thinking more like $100. to $120. for that much.
ATF;
Is the name of that catalog a Government secret?

RugerNiner, Breakfree has a web site at www.break-free.com. Be SURE to put the hyphen in between break-free, otherwise you get a totally different site. No idea how much a gallon of Breakfree CLP costs, but I'm sure it is more than the $8 for the Royal product.

After making several E-mails to different companies and to the manufacturer themselves I got return E-mails stating what they carry.
The last E-mail I recieved was from the Breakfree Company themselves. Come to find out It's made right here in Jacksonville,FL. I'm starting a job in Georgia (50 min. ride) building a College and have to go right past the plant (near Airport).
I'll get information from the company and see if I can buy straight from them. If I can, at a good deal I'll let you all know. I checked the can and damn if it doesn't say "manufactured in Jacksonville, Fl.
Next time I'll read the package first before making inquires.
