What is my Gun worth
I have a browning bps 28 gauge stalker. The reciever is stainless and all engraved and gold trigger. I hate to say it but the gun is pretty .Never fired .Please help

SUNSTONE: You have an interesting shotgun. Made by CRESCENT here in the States, and also Made in Belguim for T. BARKER, Co..I don't know who the Belguim Manufacturer was, But the Guns were all stamped with T.Barkers Name.
Barker was an Importer and sold thru various
Hardware Companies and thru Mail Order Houses in the Late 1800's and early 1900's, The Outside Hammer Gun with Damascus Barrels in Good shooting Condition is Worth $250.00

To determine if the gun is in good and safe shooting condition requires a gunsmith with fiber optics to look inside the barrel for evidence of delamination. These were black powder guns shooting at much lower pressure than todays smokeless ammo, and hand loading is the way to go if you choose to shot it. Likely shooting it will hasten its demise.
I would rather be exposed to the inconveniences attending too much liberty than to those attending too small a degree of it.
