Cool ! Good one Sarge (is it OK if I call you Sarge ?) I have been unable to find the Brenneke Gold 12ga 3" locally ! Anyone else looking at this, these 3" 1 3/8 oz nasty bastads kick no more than Lightfield 2 3/4" 1 1/4oz slugs with same pt of impact !

I have never seen any kind of " weird " ammo for sale locally. Even the 3" shells are really hard to find, for some reason. Whenever I want slugs or bigger shells, I usually have to buy them online. " Cheaper than Dirt " has some good prices.

I have .410 slugs as well as buckshot here in the shop. 0 -
we have them at waltsgun@aol.com there are about 10 boxes in the back of the shop, and we can order more. yes, they are 3". if anybody has trouble finding them localy give big mike a holler. its curious, but with other shotshell gauges, sizes, shot type, and brands we have a wide selection, but only one 3" .410 slug.

Here in Wisconsin you can shoot .410 slugs for target practice, but they are illegal for hunting. Emery 0 -
it was the same in ny. the 410 wasnt legal for deer/big game but could be used to hunt coyotes/varmints or whatever else. i have met many others though who have used the 410 with great success on deer out to 50 yards.
i have always been up to a challenge so i chose the 410 to hunt pigs here in hawaii. most shots are under 30 yards and the pigs weigh about 70 lbs average. i figure head shots or well placed slugs to vitals and i should be fine. pigs are plentiful, can be baited and i am patient.....
