value of remington pistol

i think its a model 51--semi auto 32 acp has reminton umc on hand grips--great shape--shoots great also--anybody with an idea of the value???thanks for the help

  $375.00 to $425.00 depending if its the Early Model or the late Model.
  There were Approxamately 65,000 made with the production begining in 1918 and continuing thru 1934...

  It is a neat little gun.It has all of the modern safety features. Very narrow and easy to conceal. Of the 65,000 Capt. Kirk mentioned only 10,278 were .32, the rest were .380. The blue book shows the .32 being worth more but most people prefer the .380 for a little more pop. The guy that provides the input on these to the blue book keeps telling them that the .380 is worth at least or maybe more than the .32 despite the fewer number of .32s but they won't listen or change anything. Value like always depends on condition, condition, condition. I paid $225 for my .380 and $250 for my .32. Then I paid $75 to have the .380 reblued. There are bargins out there but they are few and far between.

  These finely made guns were designed by Pederson whom John Browning called a genius. A great deal of engineering design went into these pistols. Pointability is the first clue. The clever screwless takedown and delayed blowback action reflect a lot of thought.
  Pederson also designed slide action rifles for Remington which are also worth owning.If you can find a model 25 in 32-20, grab it.
