Shotgun ID help needed

A friend has a 12 gauge single shot shotgun. The only markings on the barrel are Washington Arms Co. and SN# 1641**. Any background info and worth on the weapon would be appreciated.

  Sounds like an Import from Belguim, Circa 1895 to Mid 1930,s...If its a safe shooter just use it! There's no collector value attached to these Old Single Shot Guns....Value Wise as a good Shooter is $50 to $75.00......Best....
