Winchester `03 .22 auto. caliber
I would like help finding the year my Winchester 03 .22 automatic caliber rifle was made. Serial # 114241. This one has a checkered pistol grip stock and checkered forend, plus the wood is fancy grade.

1927........Production began with Serial Number 113327 and ran to Serial Number 114633 for the years production.....Best...

The '03 is a sweetheart .22, but ammo is hard to find.
Fortunately, Taurus makes a copy, their Model 63, which shoots standard .22 LR: http://www.taurususa.com/m63.html0 -
