    U might try some compensator spray. I forgot the brand, but it was available thru dillion precission or midway. I think it was Carter's Compensator Spray, but not sure. However a change in ammo may also help.

    If I'm wrong please correct me, I won't be offended.

    The compensator spray makes it easier to clean but a smudged front sight is a fact of life for a comped gun. Here is a trick that I have used that helps. Using some epoxy appliance white paint and a toothpick slowly build up the front dot until it has a convex shape. The fouling will still happen but a quick swipe with a patch(or sleeve or finger)cleans it quickly.
