Bullpup Shotgun

My knowledge of bullpup shotguns is rather limited.
High Standard made two similar models, both gas operated:
HIGH STANDARD M10A and HIGH STANDARD M10B
I'm not sure when they were manufactured or which particular model of HIGH STANDARD shotgun these two models were based on. Help?

I also know that Mossberg made a bullpup pump action shotgun, but I'm not sure which model/models they are of or when they were available.

In the realistic world, what other bullpup shotguns were/are being made and how likely is it that Joe Average can acquire one, even if he eventually gets a class III license?

Enquiring minds would like to know.

  The mossberg model was based of the 500 pump. You don't need a class 3 to have the mossberg, it still has 18" barrel. Gun Parts corp at one time had the factory parts to convert a model 500 to bullpup, not just the plastic clamshell kit you see.

  I have a high standard mod. a but I don't know when they were produced. early 80's I think but the mossberg was made between 86-90 and they are currently made under the maverick name. and you don't need a class3 to get either of these. I have a mossy too. love em both.

  The High Standard guns were designed by Al Crouch, a police officer working for the Santa Monica, CA Police Department. Officer Crouch based his High Standard design on that companies Supermatic shotgun.
  There was also an early prototype using a Remington Model 58. Originally these guns were marketd by HS only to police or security officers but since the gun is long out of production that restriction is over. No special license or permit is needed. These guns are more collectors items now, rather than fighting shotguns.

  I had one of the Hi-tandard M-10B's. It had a flashlight in the top carry handle (3-cell I think). Brutal recoil from the shoulder. It had a swiveling butt pad/plate to allow you to use it one-handed with the butt turned sideways and held against your bicep - two shots from there and the arm was useless for the rest of the watch.
