Model 70 6mm Rem.
I came across a Winchester Model 70 featherweight chambered in 6mm Remington, NIB. I originally purchased it to use for hunting but being a little bit familar with Winchester's I tried checking in to this unusual chambering in a Model 70. The blue book makes no mention of Winchester offering this caliber. I also reviewed catalogs from the early ninties (when made) and never came across the 6mm. So does anyone know what the value or rarity of this rifle? Thanks!

I am no expert at all with m 70's but It seems I read in the 2002 gun digest today it was worth around $450 for an excellent one, but that wasn't a 6mm. Take this with a grain of salt, someone else will know for sure. RED 0 -
Any indication that it is a after market barrell

The barrel is original. It still has the hanging tag and box which are also mark 6mm Rem. Thanks for the comment Hitman! 0
