Frank, Glad to see it was for a trigger assembly and not the 25-06 loads I sent you!!! GHD 0 -
Are you kidding that 25-06 is a tack driver with the loads you gave me! The scope however takes some getting use too. with the BaL Var. scope mounted on the barrel, I am still dinking with the spring tension on the scope for the recoil.
All I have to do now Is find a good after market trigger for that Savage 112 J SERIES that will go down to about 2 lbs.
As soon as I bring home my PC cable for my Dig. camera I will send you a Pic of the 25-06. This just might replace my Savage 110 in .270
for hunting. My Rem 40x is stll the king in the field for small stuff.
Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey varmit hunter's, just got done watching exploding varmits video part one. these guys are wild. they are shooting ground squirlls at about 50 yards with a 22-250. anyway i sent in my remington 700bdl 17 cal. to remington. i shot two different boxes of shells. one rem. and one reload. they both had pierced primers. they are saying there was nothing wrong to try some different ammo. i just find this strange. give your two cents. i don't think remington would send it to me defective. they said they did a 30 shot test with no failures and also checked firing pin head space and bolt face. thanks for you input..... tom 0 -
Only 50 yards? I used to blow them up at 125 yards with the 225.

Well you got me there, I was only using a 3x-9x scope. The limiting factor was seeing them.
