Are Czech VZ52 Rifles Becoming Rare??
Are these rifles becoming rare? I picked one up a few weeks ago in excellent condition, still parkerized with no black paint and stock in fine condition. The front sight hood is still intact (I heard most of these are missing)and all parts are tight.
This is the 1st one I've seen in a long time except for the ones that look like they have been dragged behind a pickup truck for 50 miles.
I've been watching the auctions.....yes, that other site too, and all that comes up from doing a search are accessories and ammo.
Are these guns becoming hard to come by these days?
I paid $300.00 for mine which I think is a little steep but I'm starting to wonder since availability of good specimens seems to be very low.

I don't think that hey are becoming rare. I just think that there's not much of a demand for them. For the price you can get a cheap sks, or for a few $$ more, and ak. And the ammo for the ak is a lot cheaper/better than most of the ammo for 7.62/45, unless it's been converted to 39. But is it had check to make sure that it's just not a chamber insert. They are avalible to CR & FFl holder, so we buy some of them. 0
