Burris Scope
Hello, I was woundering if someone could tell me anything about a burris handgun scope which came on a gun i recently purchased. I have not seen this scope before or in any catologs that are selling Burris today. It is a eer straight 7 power Burris thats all thats on the scope. Any info would be appreciated.

I have heard and seen ads. on a Burris scope that after you get it sighted in you can lock the cross hairs in, Any body tryed it yet? I sure do hope it works, I am tired of sending scopes in for repair, I shoot a lot of Mag Rifles and after about 200 rounds the scopes are bad. 0 -
The posilock feature is available on the Signature and Black Diamonds and it works great on the Magnums. The problem with a Burris scope is it is like a bag of Lay's potaoe chips "you just can't have one". I was and still am a strong Leupold owner but one Burris has turned into ten and every one is perfect.

When you tighten the posi-lok, it may change POI slightly, then you may have to loosen it, adjust the POI left/right or Up/down the amount it was off, and then re-tighten the Posi-Lok. It states this in the owners manual and is really no big deal. I will agree with snickers, Burris scopes are excellent quality products.

Thank you Guys for answering, I shoot a lot of 300 and 338 Mag's and my scopes do not hold up, I have several Leupold's and usally send in 3 a year to factory, they fix them and the turn around time is less than 2 weeks, could not ask for a better Co. But they don't stay fixed Am trying B&L now and so far so good, but time will tell. I do have one Burris sig. and have sent it back to factory once Took a long time to get it back, don't know if they fixed it or not haven't tryed it yet.
It really pisses me that I have to give all most as much for a scope as a Rifle and the scope will not hold up.0 -
snickers said it best. I had five Leupolds. I now have five Burris scopes.
