shotgun info
I have an old shot gun I am seeking info on.
It's a side by side 12 Ga. with 30" barrels and double triggers.
On both sides of the reciever it is engraved with a bird dog.
On the top of the reciever under the left barrel it is stamped "40XXX PAT'D", and under the right barrel it's stamped "12"
On the top of the left barrel it is stamped "Western Arms Corp., Ithaca, N.Y." between two arrows.
On top of the right barrel it is stamped "Long Range Gun" between two arrows.
On The bottom of the left barrel it is stamped "LLH" "4 + 40XXX".
On the bottom of the right barrel it is stamped "LLH" "2 +2 3/4 chamber".
Thanks for any info you can provide

Any one know of a shotgun manufacturer hs and b. Thought it could be hubbard spencer and bartlett. 0 -
A utility grade gun made by Ithaca. Not a bad gun by any means... Just a little less expensive and made to be affordable during the depression.
Barrel stampings are shell length and choke codes. Most likely full and modified, but I don't have that info in hand. Not much else to tell, other than in good condition you can bang away until your shoulder is too sore to take the punishment.
