a friend is selling a pistol identical to GB auction # 5516251. are these guns any good? is it worth $100? all help needed . he's looking to get rid of it on wednesday, even if he has to pawn it.

Sell it to meI have one and it takes some "wear in" before they start functioning correctly.Mine has feeding problems,but with each trip to the range,it gets better.Mine is exceptionally clean,and looked like it had never been shot!If you have a feed problem,(the slide will not go all the way forward), pop it on the bottom of the mag and the round will chamber.Mine initially did this chroniclly with ALL ammo I used.I think the problem is the magazine lips.They need to be widened just a shade.The more I use them, the better the performance.Remember these are Commie copies of Walther PP's or PPK's
in 9x18 Makarov, so the tolerances are going to be close!Couple the close tolerances with Eastern Bloc machining and you wind up with a less than perfect product.Still, a little wear in time, and you could have a very handy compact CCW. Definately worth $100.

One of my range buddies has one,brings it all the time.He bought it used a few years ago and has never had trouble with it.His is a 380 APC not a Makarov 380.We never shoot anything threw it but ball,so I don't know if hollow points will function reliably.CW
