Sig 226 17-rd Eagle mags?
Has anyone had experience with these mags? They are supposed to be flush-fitting. I know factory or Mec-Gar work best, but I was curious.

Most people will tell you a Sig is a fine enough firearm that to use anything but factory mags in it would be a disgrace. They might be right about that, but economics does play a part in the figures somewhere.
I'm something of a fan of Eagle magazines, and have used them in my Beretta 92. I'm a bigger fan of factory mags, but do use the Eagle mags. I've never used them in a Sig. But I have sold several to people who own Sigs.
They do fit flush.
The biggest complaint I have heard about the 17 round Eagle mags in any pistols is they are partial to ball ammo. I think if you stick with the ball ammo, you won't have many problems. They are inexpensive enough, it's worth a try.
But myself, if my life is on the line, I'd go with factory mags. In addition to the Eagle mags I have for my Beretta, I also have several factory mags stashed back for the appropriate situation.

They would be for plinking at the range and not self defense. I'd not trust my life to anything less than factory for that.
