Would like an opinion on building a sporter on a low number springfield receiver. Caliber would be 7x57 mauser. thanks.

  need a ballpark value on an 03 springfield in 30-06 calibre.
  80% condition, v-g bore.

  barto...about a million variables to take into account, but considering CMP has some truly sweet ones for around $425 I'd say no more than $350 unless you can get more specifics on the weapon. Cartouches, matching bolt, original wood, S or C stock???? all of those are going to effect value. Beach
