Belguim Damascus

Does anyone know the value of a Belguim Damascus, Double Barrel, Black Powder Gun. Exposed hammer, Barrel about 32" long. Silver triangle on the wood. Wood dark with nice carvings. Year of gun is 1893. Gordon Gun Co.

  Generally speaking the piece has a value of ZERO as a gun. Perhaps $150.00 as a wall decoration.

  If its in Really Good Shape and is a Good Shooter...it might be Worth $250.00....

  Do not shoot any damascas barreled, black powder shotgun without first having it checked over by a smith who is an expert with these guns. Most are not safe to shoot. Never use modern ammunition with these guns, only black powder shells if it is safe.
