cowboy guns?
I have wanted to get into cowboy action shooting for a long time and i had a few questions about what kind of shotgun to get. I want a double-barrel coach gun or a lever action shot gun. Who makes good versions of these?

gary50: hi can't help with the shotgun but if you are looking for a Ruger Vaquero or Marlin rifle maybe we could talk, of course not on this forum as that would be against the rules...and Captain Kirk would Spank My Rearend....... gskyhawk2002@yahoo.com

I have an old Rossi coachgun in 12 Ga. It has exposed hammers so is slower as the hammers have to be cocked after each reload.
I bought an I.G.A. side by side with internal hammers and double triggers, and it works great for CAS.
I have not used a lever shotgun, but the 1897 pumps are very popular and very fast. Winchester 1897's are out there, but are getting expensive. Norinco is making a copy of the Win 1897 at a more affordable cost.
