22/22mag peacemaker

Are there any places that a person could find original Colt Peacemaker 22/22mag grips? I know they have not been made since '75 or '76, but I would think that there is someone out there who has a set that they would be willing to part with. I just cant seem to find them.
I am on the hunt for the hard rubber Colt grips that would fit this weapon. Can anyone point me in the right Direction. I have already called Colt and they pointed me to some very nice people in California, but to no success. Any other suggestions?

  Try posting on the "Want Ads" forum here. Also try the next gun show in your area. You might also look in your phone book for gunsmiths, give them a call, it's amazing what a gunsmith accumulates around his shop over the years.

  Take a look on eBay too, just beware of repros if you are looking for originals. There are a couple of cues to the originals; if you need the info post and I will dig it up. I used to have a couple of sets around here but I think I put one set on a gun. I'll try to make time to look.
