Gloss Black To Black Matte?

I bought some rings & bases that only come in gloss black & i was wondering is there anyway i could paint or do something to change them to a black matte color? Thanks......Hunter

  I assume that they are anodized aluminum. If so, they can be stripped and reanodized satin black.
