Lesson 2: K Frame?
This is more of a spinoff from my first lesson. I bought the S&W Mod 66 because I liked the way it felt in my hand and when I fired it. Also I seem to hear a lot of people at the range say prefer the model because it's non-automatic which could potentially jam on you.
What's a K Frame, I know mine is, but what exactly is the frame? What other frames are there and what distiguishes them from others?
Every so often, I like to stick my head out the window, look up, and smile for a satellite picture.

I had the same question some time ago and Saxon Pig and another member put it this way.
J= smallest frame
k= next size bigger
L= next size bigger
N= Biggest modern frame
This is Modern day usage,hope this helps
